Where are you going?
Do you remember that saying, “It’s not where you’re from, but where you are going matters?”
That saying dwelled in my mind these past few days when I spent three days in the beautiful city of San Francisco. While walking down the crooked and narrow streets, and cruising in the trolley, I pondered on my past and future. I noticed that something was different as I gazed at the sky with my hair blowing in the wind, I felt apart of me escaping.
Every time I travel I see myself changing into a different woman.
A part of me fades away, but I receive something so much greater in return. I receive a different perspective about life, which influences my life in multiple ways. Sitting here at the airport writing this entry, I see myself creating new ventures and challenges, and preparing myself for my next trip and chapter in my life.
I once read a quote that states that “no one can be in two directions at once, and it is impossible to go forward when you are looking at the past”.
I hope that this blog entry has not only allowed you to question yourself, Where are you going, but that you think more wisely in the direction in which you would like to go.
